"At Cave de l'Est the essence of 'terroir' and the influence of origin on the style of a wine is the main concept. A tasting about Pinot Noir, the prime example of a grape variety that is capable of expressing terroir, was to be expected. On 6 November, Erik van de Lustgraaf (DipWSET) will present a tasting of 12 very special wines made with Pinot Noir, supported by an extensive explanation of this grape variety and different examples. We will start with an amazing Champagne and the focus will be on special Burgundy's, resulting in a somewhat elevated ticket price.
